Digitally, a complete treatment plan is derived using Clincheck software. The step-by-step movement of the teeth is sequenced. Optimized attachments are selected, and final changes to the plan are made.
Ready, Set, Align!
A series of custom-made aligners are fabricated. The patient arrives and any necessary attachments are placed on their teeth. Each aligner will make slight adjustments to the position of the teeth, slowly moving them to their desired stopping point.
What can you expect during treatment?
Patients will wear each set of aligners for about 7-10 days. Remove aligners only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Periodic check-ups ensure we are on track to complete the case.
Evaluation and Refinement
After the completion of the Invisalign treatment, the final position of the teeth is evaluated. If any additional adjustments are necessary, a refinement can be ordered. Refinements consist of a secondary plan, and additional retainers to obtain improved results if needed.
Retainers and After Care
After treatment has been completed, retainers are created to maintain the idealized position of the teeth. For the first few months, patients will wear these Vivera retainers exactly as they did their Invisalign trays. After the teeth have stabilized, patients can switch to nightly wear.
